FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI (CITY PARISH PENANG)

The Feast of Corpus Christi was celebrated at the Church of Assumption by City Parish, Penang after the Pentacost and Trinity Sunday. The Feast celebrates the solemnity of Body and Blood of Christ with a series of liturgies, hymns and processions. 

In Penang, the feast of Corpus Christi is celebrated at a grand scale with a series of symbolically meaningful ceremonies and rituals which is a reflection of the Catholic faith in Penang.
