Passing by Jalan Kebun Bunga, you will surely notice a number of cars lining up in front of the Waterfall Shree Muniswarar Temple. Each month, the temple receives hundreds of peoples of many religious backgrounds coming from all corners of Penang, even from as far as Singapore for blessing, especially after buying new vehicles. This temple is famously known for the place to come to seek blessing for new vehicles. Over the years, visitors keep coming back to the temple and expressed gratitude for the blessing as it keeps them safe while on the road.
Waterfall Shree Muniswarar Temple holds a rich historical value and has witness the long history of the Thaipusam celebration in Penang. Established in 1800s, the temple has since been the main thannir panthals for devotees to get cold drinks and shelter during procession to the Waterfall Hilltop Murugan Temple on Thaipusam.
